Airway Cafe: Your Go-To Spot for Delicious Breakfast and Lunch in Porterville

Service great and food so very delicious. Proportions just right. Can get busy so if your a big party expect to wait a little. Great views of tarmac. Definitely going back. They were able to accommodate my daughter who has a dairy allergy.

The food here at the Airway Cafe is really tasty. The menu has lots of items to choose from which are all mouth watering. I got the chicken breast sandwich and salad. The chicken breast was thick, tender, seasoned just right, and juicy. I liked sitting in the booth looking out over the airfield and watching an occasional plane take off our land. After lunch or dinner, go on over to the Eagle Mountain Casino and hopefully win a few dollars.

We love this little diner. 3 little ladies run all over the aisles taking orders and keeping it's patrons happy and food filled. Very good food, delicious, quick, affordable, and a super pleasant atmosphere. Also includes service with a smile. It doesn't look like much on the outside but maybe that will help keep the clientele numbers low so that we can be seated more quickly yeah! Airway Cafe. Great job folks. Keep it up!

First time visit. Loved the atmosphere with large viewing windows to watch the airplanes. Food was good and our waitress was welcoming and nice.

First visit to this cafe. This was on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Got there early on recommendation of local friend. We were one of three tables, and the atmosphere was of a utilitarian cafeteria . Although, the walls were plastered with all sorts of airplane decorations. Some vintage and some silly. All were charming. As was our server. I took a long time deciding, and she was good humored about it. We ordered, and while we waited, the small room started to fill up. Looked like all locals to me. Took a couple shots of the menu. Forgot to get any pix of the delicious food. Believe me, it was photo-worthy! I ordered eggs over medium and ham steak with a biscuit and gravy on the side. On recommendation from our server, I got the country potatoes instead of hashbrowns. They were golden cubes, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Perfect! Eggs were fine, but the ham steak was SO salty. Biscuit was OK, and the gravy was just right. By the time we left, all the tables were full, and a line had formed outside. As we left, I noticed a second small room also had most tables full. This place is definitely worth a visit. Lots of free parking.

We ordered the B-52, the omelette, and the Red Baron. Everything was delicious!! Cooked to perfection and the coffee never ends. I definitely recommend this place!

We ordered in our lunch... fries weren't so great, but we did order in... They were tasty, just not so good by the time we got em... but, the burgers and the onion rings were phenomenal!!! They cooked mine exactly how I asked (medium rare)... they were so so good! Lunch at airway is the place!

I have been going to the Airport Cafe for years and have never had anything but top notch food and service. Staff are friendly and extremely polite while maintaining professionalism. I highly recommend them to everyone!
